Nagomi means calm harmony.
It is the feeling of quiet balance – the moment when everything slows down.
This matcha was named after that experience.
Nagomi is selected for its fresh, lively character, making it a matcha that is easy to enjoy every day.

From the Same Organic Farm in Uji
All Ujiha matcha comes from a single organic farm in Uji, Japan.
After working with multiple producers over the years, we chose to deepen our relationship with one farm that consistently delivers exceptional harvests.
This farm focuses exclusively on organic cultivation.
Organic matcha is often believed to taste dull or flat. But when the farming and processing are done with care, the result can be incredibly vibrant.
Every Ujiha matcha is:
• Single-farm sourced • JAS organic certified • First harvest • Stone-milled in Japan
Flavor Profile
Nagomi has a vibrant green aroma with a refreshing character.
Compared to Awa, it is slightly brighter and more lively, with a gentle bitterness that gives the tea structure and a clean finish.
Expect notes of:
• Fresh green aroma • Light vegetal sweetness • Gentle bitterness • Refreshing finish
It is especially enjoyable as an everyday matcha.
Packaging
Nagomi comes as a 40g pouch.
You may also choose to add a washi-wrapped tea can, inspired by traditional Japanese patterns.
The can helps protect matcha from light, air, and moisture, keeping the tea fresh after opening.
Brewing Guide
• 1 gram matcha (about 1 teaspoon) • 70–80ml water • Water temperature: around 80°C
Whisk for 15–20 seconds until a fine foam forms on the surface.
The foam softens bitterness and brings out the sweetness and umami of the tea.
The Ujiha Matcha Selection
All three matcha come from the same organic farm in Uji.
The difference between them comes from leaf selection during harvest.
| Matcha | Character | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Nagomi | Bright, refreshing, gentle bitterness | Everyday matcha |
| Awa | Smooth, naturally sweet, deeper umami | Pure matcha drinking |
| Kotobuki | Exceptionally refined, rare lots | Connoisseurs |
Many customers start with Nagomi, then move to Awa once they experience the deeper sweetness and umami.
